Get the basic essentials you need to start your own home aquatic reptile and amphibian habitat. With the Tetra® 15 ReptoHabitat Kit, create a home for aquatic juvenile turtles, frogs, newts, and salamanders. Along with a 15-gallon premium glass aquarium, your kit includes these essentials: a ReptoFilter® filtration device with cartridge, a Turtle Terrace basking platform, a heat lamp with bulb, AquaSafe® Water Conditioner and a ReptoMin® PLUS Food Sample. The easy-access screen top is padlock-compatible for easy locking and features innovative, one-handed entry and side latches for extra security. The basking platform with ramps on each side is included in your kit for your aquatic reptiles and amphibians to use as a feeding location or as a place to rest and warm themselves. Place your reptile kit in a location close to an electrical outlet to allow the use of lights and filters. The kit should not be placed near heating or air conditioning ducts, or in direct sunlight, as this can cause the temperature inside the habitat to fluctuate, and direct sunlight can cause algae growth.
